Could you state whether the post from ielbury, Mar 25, 2010, is correct or not? I've been trying all sorts of things with two different USB WiFi dongles (one Archos G9 3G) on two different machines (one Windows 7, other Windows 8) with no success at all. AP is not listed under the Advanced Properties. It would be good to know if it's a basic hardware deficiency so I can just give up.
