In your issues section I followed up with the every single steps to resolve this problem but its of no use. It still shows me the same message.

I found the issue, using WinPatrol pro... i'm guessing you two are also on a 64bit system?
I've not found a way around this. other than i know it's not compatible with 64bit systems now.
It used to work for me too. really weird how it just all of the sudden stopped..
If you open up your network adapters window, and look, when you first open virtual router, and press start, it will show your ethernet as ",Shared" , then right before it gives you the error message, it changes where it deletes the "shared" part. the same goes for if you manually open up the ethernet adapter window, and change it manually by stating you want to share the internet. then it will stayed "shared" until you open VR again, and it will proceed to disable the shared thing again, and you will get that error once again.
It's disabling the shared part of it. something you all might want to try though(if you havent already), goto comand prompt with admin settings, and put in
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow
in the system32 folder, and then try again with VR. if that doesn't work, your stuck in the same "boat" as me, and likely are running a 64bit verison of windows like i am.
